Havering Council was pleased to launch Your Romford in the historic heart of the town centre, Romford Market.
Havering Council is committed to protecting and strengthening Romford Town Centre and the surrounding area, to make sure it continues to be a place that people live, visit and enjoy. Your Romford has been launched to gather local people’s priorities, ideas and aspirations for Romford Town Centre and the surrounding area to shape a new Masterplan for the area, which will guide future development in the town.
To start as we mean to go on, on 25 Jan 2019 the Your Romford engagement team spoke to over 90 people at the first public pop-up. Keep an eye out for the Your Romford engagement van on your next visit to the town centre, as the team will be out and about over the next couple of months.
From January to June 2019 there will be plenty of ways for you to get involved in the conversation, so check our website and Havering Council’s communication channels for events and updates.
